20 Years In The Making

It all began in 2006 at Pappadeaux in Westminster, Colorado, where we were both part of the opening crew. According to Tony, it was love at first sight and honestly, he’s not wrong. In 2007, we welcomed our son Bryce, and though life took us on different paths, we always remained the best parenting team anyone had ever seen. Most people didn’t even realize we weren’t together, because our bond was that strong. Fast forward ten years later… destiny stepped back in. On May 1st, 2021, we knew without a doubt that we were meant to be together forever. Tony made it official on September 23rd, 2023, when he proposed at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Danielle’s favorite place in all of Colorado. She always said she’d marry the man who took her there… and Tony wasn’t about to let that be anyone but him. Wedding planning began shortly after, but life had other beautiful plans. We found out we were expecting a baby girl, Cali, and just as we were wrapping our heads around newborn life again (seventeen years after Bryce!), our baby boy was preparing to graduate and leave the nest for the University of Arizona in Tucson. Between welcoming a new life and sending another off to start his own, our hearts and hands were full in the best way possible. So, we decided to pause wedding planning and simply embrace the incredible season we were in. And now, here we are, July 12th, 2026, exactly 20 years of when we first met, ready to finally say “I do” surrounded by the family, friends, and love that carried us through it all.
