Are kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation for invited guests. Blumen Gardens is not a child friendly venue and therefore any child present will need to be supervised at all times! For this reason, we have chosen to divert the final decision to the parents. We want everyone to have a stress free evening and enjoy themselves. We look forward to celebrating with all of you!

What time should guests arrive?

We kindly ask guests to arrive 15 minutes prior to get acclimated and start mingling! This will also give you time to explore the gardens!

Will there be transportation from the hotel to Blumen Gardens?

Answer

SHUTTLE INFORMATION: PICK UP at the Hampton inn 4:45pm (leave by 4:55pm) PICK UP at the Country Inn and Suites 5:15pm (leave by 5:25pm) There will be TWO trips back to each of these hotels at the end of the night. First pick up at 11pm and last at 12am. Lyft and Uber are also available in the Sycamore/Dekalb area and there is plenty of on-site parking for those that choose to drive themselves. (BE SAFE!)

Will the ceremony be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Blumen Gardens has both indoor and outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour space. Weather permitting, we will be holding the ceremony and the cocktail hour outside in the gardens. Some of the garden area is paved with stones, while other parts have paths with small gravel. Consider this when picking your shoes!

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
