Safari
If you are interested in doing a safari, you can arrive before the wedding and do your safari or add it on after the wedding weekend! Best places to visit on your safari are Lake Manyara, Tarangerie, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti. We are happy to assist you with planning this and giving recommendations and itineraries. Safaris can be a short or as long as you wish.
Nature Walk
There are many beautiful areas to walk in and around Usa River! You can walk alone or have a guide!
Coffee Tour and Hike
The website here is for the coffee tour that is available in Usa River area, but there is also a wonderful tour Moshi side with a hike to a waterfall — this could work if you want to stay in Moshi on Monday night following our Neema party and do the tour on Tuesday!
Bike Ride Tour
A dear friend of ours runs some AMAZING bike tours from 45 minute rides to 3 hour rides— all up to you! Highly recommend for those into fitness and adventure!!
Lunch or Dinner at Rivertrees Inn
Enjoy a delicious lunch in nature at Rivertrees Country Inn- a gorgeous hotel in Usa River. The hotel sits right on the river and has hundreds of trees filled with monkeys all around the lodge!
Lunch or Dinner at Mount Meru Game Lodge
This is a beautiful hotel in Usa River, just down the road from where Chris and Mandy live. Wonderful spot for lunch or dinner. This is also one of the hotels where you can stay before or after the wedding!
Day Trip to Arusha National Park
Enjoy a day trip safari and picnic lunch to Arusha National Park! Beautiful scenery, safari animals and lakes!
Kili Golf Estate
Head around the corner from the hotel and play golf at the BEAUTIFUL Kilo Golf Course! For those who don’t play, enjoy a meal or a drink on the course at the lovely clubhouse.
