Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium
If you want to make a vacation out of your trip to Nebraska, Omaha has one of the best zoos in the nation.
Historic Haymarket
If you’re staying in Lincoln and want to see a bit more of the city, the Haymarket neighborhood is Lincoln’s downtown. There are great restaurants all over town, but we particularly love Buzzard Billy’s, Lazlo’s, and Hiro 88 Sushi. If you want dessert, stop by Ivanna Cone for some delicious ice cream.
College World Series of Omaha
For baseball fans, the College World Series is happening in Omaha from 6/19-6/30. There will be fans from all over coming to watch their teams compete in the tournament. Be aware, this could make finding hotels, rental cars, and flights in Omaha more difficult or more expensive.
UNL Dairy Store
If you like ice cream and want to explore the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus, the UNL Dairy store is a great place to visit. Across the street from the Dairy Store you can also find one of our favorite brunch locations: Cultiva.
