We suggest booking and putting down your deposit as soon as you possibly can. We want to make sure there is a room reserved for you as this is a popular resort and time of the year!
Yes, you do need a passport! If you currently have a passport please check to ensure it does not expire before the wedding. If it does expire, you will need to renew it. You can fill out the paperwork online and mail the information in or you can go to a local business that offers passport assistance. Passports are currently taking 14 weeks to receive without expedited services, so please plan accordingly. Passport through the post office- Picture & they file for you $55 Passport through the state- Will need a check for $130 (to expedite $180)
If you are booking on your own and not through our Travel Agent, the ideal time is usually 2-5 months prior to departure (We are booking ours ASAP). Just please let Sydne know your flight itinerary so she can plan accordingly for pick up & drop off from the airport in Cancun!
We will be staying a week, June 20-27th. We suggest at least staying 3-4 nights but that is totally up to you!
All single/solo attendees are welcome to bring one guest with them, as the room rates are based on double occupancy and you will receive the best rate when booking two adults. We want you to enjoy our wedding as well as your vacation. If you have questions or concerns regarding this please reach out to the Bride or Groom directly
Gifts are not necessary for a destination wedding! Making the trip is gift enough to us <3 A simple card will be greatly appreciated :) There is also a chance you could be taxed bringing a gift to Mexico and we do not want you to have to pay for anything like that! If you would like to purchase a gift we have an amazon registry and a honeymoon fund. If you choose to order from amazon, please just make sure it is delivered before or after we leave/return so we can make sure it doesn't sit outside while we're gone :)
To give our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children. We hope that you can join in sharing an adult only vacation with us!
You will be greatly missed, but we completely understand life happens. If you are unable to attend please RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly.
A short 15 minute commute!
Keep in mind, your shuttle driver isn't a part of the resort staff, so bring some cash for your transfer driver. Additional excursions or spa treatments are also not included in your stay
Your resort fee has built in tips for the staff, so you are not obligated to tip the staff. However, we would recommend to bring at least $100 per person for tips. Typically tips are encouraged for the drivers (to and from the airport), bartenders/wait staff, and cleaning staff. Tips are not expected, but are highly appreciated! The staff works incredibly hard to ensure their guests have an exceptional experience. Tips can be provided in US dollars as there is no need to convert US dollars to Mexican pesos.
Be sure to dress light and breezy since it will be warm and humid! Ladies should wear cocktail or sun dresses and men should wear linen pants and a nice shirt. (Honestly wear whatever you’re most comfortable in!) You wont see any suit and ties, keep it simple! If you're still unsure what to wear, please ask the couple for suggestions :) The ceremony will be on the beach so choose your shoes accordingly!
The ceremony will be held outdoors (weather permitting). The reception will be inside a restaurant
Yes, round trip transportation will be provided from the airport to the resort. Sydne will arrange this for you :)
Please reach out to Sydne asap!! She will be the most helpful in this situation
