🌅 It wasn’t anything out of the norm for us to drive out to Polihale for a impromptu sunset and BBQ. Milo has been super hyped on filming footage on his GoPro (it’s ahi 🐟 season) so him busting it out wasn’t too surprising. ⭐️I’ve always told him, WHEN you do IT, get it on film! Lol 🌬💨We got there and it was soooo windy. The pond was a shallow mote with ripples spilling in over the sand bank. 🌅As the sun lowered, the wind died. The pond glassed out and turned into an oil can. 🌅The entire sky lit up and was glowing pink and orange. After we did our ritual✌🏼sunset pic, He said, “not only did I want to come out here for sunset, but also wanted to ask you to marry me” and he dropped-down to his knee. 👧🏽Our 8 year old daughter Maya’s reaction was the ultimate best! ✨She sat in front of us in total aww like she was watching her favorite movie. Her face and eyes were glowing with a smile ear to ear. And she kept repeating for the rest of the night “mom I’m so so happy for you I could cry!” As she squeezed a tear out. 👩🏼‍❤️‍👨🏽 Milo and I have been together on and off since 2006 and solidly together since having Maya in 2012. 💛We’ve been through a lot to say the least and this has been a long time coming! Milo did good! And it couldn’t have even executed any better! As a family together We are over the 🌙 for this new chapter of ours and I’m soooo ready to put my wedding dreams into reality! ✨
