Question

Aren't you married?

Answer

Well, yes. We exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in September 2022. After 10 years together, we just could not wait to get married! Given the uncertainty of the pandemic and the health of our close family members, we opted for a small ceremony and a big celebration.

Question

Where is the campground?

Answer

Camp Stella Maris is a 33-acre campground overlooking Conesus Lake. The Finger Lakes hold a special place in our hearts and we are excited to kickoff a lifetime of memories there. We chose the campground venue so we could have plenty of time to spend with the people we love the most. All guests are invited to camp with us for the weekend if they would like. Address: 4395 E Lake Rd, Livonia, NY 14487

Question

What if I can't stay the whole weekend?

Answer

That's ok! Please join us for a more traditional vow renewal ceremony and reception on Saturday afternoon.

Question

What if I hate camping?

Answer

No worries! See the Accommodations & Travel page for less rustic nearby options.

Question

What kind of camping are we talking?

Answer

During the summer, Camp Stella Maris is an overnight summer camp for kids. Feel free to check out their website to get a feel for what it looks like. There are a few bunkhouses with many twin bunks in a room. Bathrooms are clean and readily available, but they are shared with stall-style showers. All bunks are heated and indoors.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

There is no dress code. The vow renewal ceremony and reception will be more like a traditional wedding, so feel free to wear semi-formal or cocktail attire if that's your thing. Casual outfits are welcome as well. Please wear comfortable shoes...it is a campground after all!

Question

What should I bring?

Answer

If you are camping, please bring: - a bath towel - shower toiletries, shower shoes - warm clothes (summer evenings in Upstate NY can be chilly) - sunscreen, bugspray - swimsuit, beach towel (if you plan to swim) - lawn games or any other activities you wish to do - camp chairs (if you have any) Please do NOT bring anything highly valuable. While the campground will be closed for just our party, things can easily get misplaced in shared accommodations. **LIST UPDATED AUG 27: you do NOT need to bring bed linens!**

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love kiddos! You are welcome to bring your kids if you wish, but please note the bunkhouses are shared spaces and we will assign kids to a children's bunk room unless you request otherwise. If your child is too young to stay on their own in a bunk room with other kids, we encourage you to find alternate accommodations that better suit your family's needs.

Question

Can I bring my four-legged kids?

Answer

We ESPECIALLY love four-legged kiddos! Unfortunately the venue does not allow animals, other than service animals.
