Are kids invited?

We love your kids—we really do. However, we have decided to make this an adults-only celebration. We hope you understand!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your formal invitation envelope states your name followed by "and Guest," then yes, you may bring someone as your plus one. If it does not, we kindly ask that it just be you in attendance.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Summer formal attire is requested. Neutral or soft/muted hues (blush, gray, dusty blue, sage) suit our theme, but please make sure that the bride is the only one in white. Wear what makes you comfortable! Examples: Men: A suit with or without a tie, or pants with a sports coat Women: Midi or floor length dresses or a jumpsuit **Ladies, the ceremony is on a grassy area up a small hill. We recommend either bringing flats to change into or wearing a block heel**

What time should we arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM on June 25. We kindly ask guests to arrive no more than 30 minutes prior (5:00 PM) to grab a seat and start mingling. If you are staying at one of our hotel blocks, the shuttle busses will take you to the venue on time. Light beverages will be available upon your arrival.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Typically in June, the weather in the Hudson Valley is warm, but not usually terribly hot. It can get chilly at night, so we recommend bringing a light jacket just incase. Our venue offers a beautiful outdoor patio that we hope to enjoy throughout the night!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The Ceremony is planned to be held outdoors. There is an indoor back up plan in case of weather & there will be people directing to this area upon arrival. The cocktail hour is also planned to be held outdoors, with indoor access to the Old Stone Barn. The reception will be held indoors, however, guests will be encouraged to explore the beautiful property, enjoy cigars outside, and participate the yard games that we will have available.

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved rooms at the Courtyard Marriot in Poughkeepie and the Hampton Inn in New Paltz. Please see the "Travel and Accommodations" section for more information. We also encourage guests to use Airbnb and vrbo for their weekend stay.

Is there a shuttle from our hotel to the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! Please see the "Travel and Accommodations" page on the website for shuttle service information. You do not have to be staying at the hotel to utilize the shuttle. If it makes it easier for you, feel free to show up at one of the shuttle pick up locations on time and enjoy the free ride.

What if I have a dietary restriction or food allergy?

Answer

We are happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions! Please be aware that our main dinner consists of a duet plate of our choosing. We will also have a vegan option available. If you have any specific allergies or dietary restrictions (peanuts, dairy, seasoning) please notify us when you RSVP that way we can make the caterer aware. The venue is aware of Celiac Disease and cross contamination concerns to make sure that the bride and any other guest with Celiac can eat without worry.
