Same wedding, different date!

As most of you know, Ashley lost her job in June due to Covid-19. Thankfully, Ralph has been fortunate to maintain his position at Barclays Center. Due to uncertain times, we made the decision to elope in Amagansett, NY on 09.12.2020 for insurance purposes. We acknowledge that this date is one to remember but we look forward to celebrating with loved ones in Asheville in 2021. We hope you can be there in person as we gather safely together. ** CDC UPDATE AS OF MAY 15 ** Fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance. AS MASK MANDATES ARE BEING LIFTED, WE WILL ASK GUESTS TO WEAR A MASK BASED ON THEIR COMFORT LEVEL. In 2014, Ralph was given the opportunity to work in Fort Lauderdale, FL due to changes at his place of employment in New York. Little did he know, this would be where he met the love of his life. Ralph and Ashley's relationship began on a somewhat unceremonious note when she quickly rejected a strictly platonic request for a dinner companion. The request wasn't even from Ralph, but a co-worker who was trying to help him meet people since he was new to town. However, she "had just signed a no fraternization policy." Ashley, being a rule follower, stubbornly dismissed any possibility of even a friendship with the newcomer. This would later change and over time, Ralph and Ashley bonded over sports -- specifically Ralph teaching Ashley how to play golf....which was mostly her driving the golf cart. Eventually, the friendship turned into undeniable love for one another. They realized that while they shared many differences, they were a lot more similar than anyone thought. Through their love of travel, food, and sports, Ralph and Ashley are always ready to plan their next adventure. They aren't really sure when they had their first date but they do know they are ready to start the next chapter of their lives... together.
