We're getting married!

Evan and Chrissy had been ring shopping since their 4 year anniversary in April but Chrissy was not expecting the proposal until at least the end of the year. Two of Chrissy's best friends, Corinne and Destinee, were scheduled to visit Hawaii in June. Evan decided to capitalize on their visit and began planning an elaborate scheme. He got Corinne and Destinee and Chrissy's sister Mindy and friend Michelle in on the plan. Mindy and Michelle arranged to fly in to Oahu the day before the planned proposal. During their visit, Corinne, Destinee, and Chrissy planned to go on a hike and then to the beach on the West side of Oahu. Evan told Chrissy that he'd be able to take a half day at work that Friday and meet them at the beach. Little did Chrissy know, earlier that week, Evan had picked up the engagement ring and Mindy and Michelle from the airport. After getting set up at the beach, Evan told Chrissy that they should walk down the beach and look for shells in the sand. Upon returning from their walk, Chrissy was surprised by a path of rose petals, her friends holding Evan's handmade signs, and a ring.
