We met on Halloween of 2010 through a mutual friend while we were trick or treating in our neighborhood. We were awkward pre-teens, completely oblivious we both had a crush on each other. After Halloween, we kept in contact all day, every day. We would talk on the phone for hours, constantly text each other throughout the day, innocently flirt, but we both were too afraid to speak up. It took 4 years for us to speak up and finally tell each other how we felt, and we have been together since April 2014. We can't wait to spend the rest of our lives loving each other, and we are excited to have everyone present to celebrate that love with us this September!

Christian proposed on the 10th anniversary of meeting each other. He (with the help of a friend or two) planned every little detail down to the table the ring was on, a photographer to capture the moment, and a barbeque set up later that day with our friends and family. We met our friends at Lake Casitas in the morning, where there was a Halloween themed table set up overlooking the lake that had the ring box in the center of it. Christian got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. We spent some time soaking in all the excitement, taking some photos and having a glass of champagne...or three. After we left the lake, we met up with some friends to continue the celebration and ended the evening surrounded by friends and family that all came together to make us both feel special.
