Austin and I met September 24th 2013 (Crazy that it's been that long ago!) when I started my first job at Little Caesars. He just so happened to work there as well. As soon as I saw him we instantly connected and became good friends right off the bat. He also was NOT sore on the eyes either ;) We went our separate ways for a few years, but always managed to stay in touch. That friendship never faded. The beginning of 2016 we hung out for the first time in years at a bowling alley. I spent HOURS doing my makeup and my friend curled my hair so pretty. I was nervous as could be. (Let's be honest, I had a MAJOR crush on him still.) A few months passed by and he FINALLY asked me on a REAL date (about time Austin... haha) He came and picked me up and as I opened the door I saw a single white rose sitting on my seat, I only once brought up the fact that white roses were my favorite and that was a long time before this date. I feel like that was the moment I knew he was the one. As corny as that is. He paid attention to every single thing I ever said and showed how much he cared. We then headed to Olive Garden for dinner. I remember I was so nervous and shy I barley ate and when I chewed I covered my mouth with my hand. (Now I eat like a truck driver next to him so don't worry, that didn't last too long.) After dinner we saw a movie. He drove me back home and I said goodnight to him and dodged his kiss- super awkward trust me. I then told him to not text me for a few days and that I would contact him first. (because I am stubborn) I walked inside my apartment with the biggest smile on my face- about 30 minutes went by and my phone lit up and it had a text from Austin saying "I know you said not to text you for a few days, but I had such a great time with you and you're beautiful. Please don't be mad I texted you." That was it folks. I started falling head over heels for this man. Life is an adventure- and I am so glad to be doing it with you Austin James. <3
