I tell Brittany all the time that I remember the first time I saw her. It was the first day of school, freshman year at Waco High. I noticed her right when she walked into our human geography class. That class quickly became my favorite subject, until I found out that I had her in another class. Throughout that year we slowly became better friends to the point that we were getting kicked out of class for talking too much and falling asleep on the phone together. Then, for some reason that only Brittany can explain, we stopped talking all the time and didn’t start hanging out again till the summer after Junior year. Our first date is still one that I will never forget. Everyone knows that I don’t smile a lot, but for that entire evening neither of us could stop smiling and laughing. I never thought about what that date would lead to, all I knew was that I didn’t want that feeling to stop, and it definitely hasn’t. Now seven years later we’re more in love than ever. We have lived in different cities, gone to different schools, been through lows and highs together, and I never want to go through life without her. Every time I see her, I still feel like that little high school kid when I first caught a glimpse of the girl that I would say forever to.
