Jennifer has always been as sweet as they come, a talented creative and Lisa’s personal stylist, a true spontaneity enthusiast, and a trusty go-to for an ice cream run.

The groom’s best friend since day one of middle school. May not be blood brothers, but they might as well be. From growing out their side burns and spiky-gelled hair, wearing shirts four times their size, and taking photo booth pictures at the mall while scouting out girls in middle school—to both being engaged, building their futures, and being there for each other through the good and bad. The two have always had the same goal, which is to become the best versions of themselves. Nothing can separate the two.

Bold, brainy, and a beauty! Felicia and Lisa grew close over their studious days while pursuing their Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Biology at Azusa Pacific. Bonding over their countless assignments and hours of studying, Lisa found an appreciation for Felicia’s humility, incredible work ethic, and desire to make an impact. She has remained an inspiration for Lisa over the years. Late nights and weekends spent in the library and in the books led to a sisterhood that will last forever.

The groom’s Dale to his Brennan, and truly the The Laugh Factory when they’re together. Terrence has played an important role in the Paul’s life ever since they met in Organic Chemistry class at Azusa Pacific. Their deeps talks about life and sharing big dreams and goals is what makes them inseparable. Terrence has been there through thick and thin, and he has always been someone that he can count on. Terrence is truly one of the most generous, caring, and lavish brothers that Paul never had.

Lisa and Melody met while working as nurses in the intesive care unit. Not only do they spend their twelve-hour night shifts saving lives together, but they’re business partners too! Work wife is an understatement, and they have become two peas in a pod. In between their nursing careers and business, they share the same love for growth, living life outside of comfort, and busting moves to their favorite 90s R&B songs. Melody has the most giving of hearts, can easily become the life of the party, is fearless on the dance floor, and proves that good friendship can turn into family in an instant!

The Man and the legend, no myth. Jay has been a strong mentor and a very dear friend for the groom ever since they met four years ago. Jay has been an integral part in the groom’s growth not just in the business realm, but in other key areas of life. He has taught Paul the true meaning of humility as well as making sure that loving and building others are top priorities. He is the epitome of a perseverance, tenacity, and graceful leadership. Paul gives much credit to Jay for the growth he has accomplished and where he is now today.

Lisa and Desiree met during the early days of high school, and is one of Lisa’s longest friends. Over the eleven years of knowing each other, their friendship has evolved into more like family. You can definitely say they’ve seen it all together—from cutting their own side bangs to fit the trends in high school to now chasing their dreams as grown women. Desiree is loved for her fun-spirit, strength, and her will to always empower and pour into others.

Paul met Jaden on the middle school basketball courts, and have been the best of friends since. The groom always admired him for his relentlessness and his heart for people. He has always been there for him and has never wavered in his support for Paul’s personal growth. Jaden’s values of putting God and family as top priorities is something that Paul wants to carry into marriage and in raising his own children. They have always shared the same desire and pursuit for spiritual and mental growth, bringing them even closer together.

Behind every man is a strong woman, or even a few. One of the most influential to Paul is Marlin, his sister. Nervous about making a great impression to not one but three older sisters, Lisa came to find that her and Marlin built a friendship instantly, and they share the same love for the experiences that come with travel, spontaneity and living a full life, and trying new foods, and a good ol’ trip to Napa. Marlin is bold and a true leader, adventurous, and certainly intelligent!

Don’t let his height fool you— he’s one of the most selfless and loving individuals Paul has ever met. Having met in high school, Paul always wondered why this six-foot plus giant wanted to hangout. Little did he know, they would become best friends. The two always believed in having the same core values of putting family first, loving on others in any shape and form, and to always have fun. Jordan has been there regardless of how much time has passed, and through the best and worst times.

Jazmin is Desiree’s twin sister by blood but Lisa’s sister by choice. The trio were three peas in a pod over the last eleven years, starting in high school and even today. Jazmin has always promised honesty, loyalty, and sage advice. Lisa appreciates her for her down-to-earth nature and her willingness to go above and beyond for the ones she loves. Having gone through many phases in life and witnessing huge milestones, she is one of Lisa’s longest friends and a sister she’s never had.

Though friendships built with a bride’s brothers may not always come easy, Paul and Thomas clicked with ease. Thomas is Lisa’s twin brother and has been supportive in everything the bride and groom has ventured into. Paul is grateful that he has come to learn that they share the same views and values when it comes to family. They also share the same love for people, and he is deemed one of the most selfless people Paul knows. Paul is thrilled to gain him as a new brother.

Though she may Paul’s oldest sister, she is the youngest at heart and the life of the party! Pliny Lou played a significant role in raising Paul into the man he is today. From the moment Lisa and Pliny Lou met, she has welcomed the bride with open arms and made her feel part of the family. Not to mention, she has undeniably two of the cutest daughters, whom Paul and Lisa adore! Pliny Lou selflessly gives, is ridiculously funny, and is a true example as a wife and mother.

Paul has been given not one future brother-in-law, but two of them. Justin is Lisa’s older brother, and he too shares the same selflessness and support as Thomas. Being able to exemplify the definition of leadership and also finding the balance of having fun at the same time is something that Paul has always admired about him. Getting the approval from the two Villarreal boys is not an easy task, but Paul has been grateful for the ease that came with building a friendship with them since they met.

Ambitious, lavish, and the absolute sweetest! Afrielle is another one of Paul’s three older sisters, and an integral person in Paul’s growth. Afrielle and Lisa have grown a friendship since they’ve first met, and the bride appreciates her for her drive, love for others and for God, and belief that family is a top priority. They bond over their love of fashion, and the bride couldn’t be more excited to gain all three as sisters!

There are moments in life where God sends you people to remind you that He is always with you. One of those moments came when the groom met Fred in a random youth bible study group. They learned that they share the same view of life, in which it is bigger than us, and success with fulfillment is the true meaning of growth. The two had been inseparable since they met. Paul has always loved Fred for his integrity, child-like enthusiasm, and most and foremost his love for God and others. His faith is like no other, and it has connected them closely over the years.
