Our event is black-tie optional. For women, this generally means a full-length silhouette. For men, a tuxedo or a dark colored suit is appropriate.
September in the Carolinas is still quite warm! During the day, average temperatures are in the low 80s, and at night, things cool off with temperatures in the mid-60s.
Yes! Parking is available in the Truist Tower parking garage, which has entrances on Fifth and Sixth Street between North Tryon and College Streets. Once you park, take the elevator from the parking deck to the main floor. Walk straight past the turnstiles and turn right to get to the main lobby. Go through the lobby and exit into Truist Tower Plaza. Our building is on the right side of the plaza. The main entrance is on North Tryon Street. If you plan to indulge in our open bar, we highly recommend ride-share services, or your legs, to safely get you to and from the party. https://www.fftc.org/directions_and_parking
We recommend looking in the following neighborhoods: Uptown, South End, Elizabeth, Plaza Midwood, Villa Heights, or NoDa. If you'd like to extend your stay in the Carolinas after the party, we recommend staying on Lake Norman!
We do not! With so many hotel options in proximity to our venue, the “Foundation for the Carolinas”, we encourage you to choose the hotel or rental property, that best suits you.
Our venue requires guests under 18 to celebrate in spirit.
