Cam and I met through Bumble in May of 2020. After he thanked me for my service during the pandemic (yes, he really said that word for word😂), we added each other on Snapchat and made plans to meet up. Cam won me over after a long shift at work with a couple Busch Lights and some horrible jokes.

Cam turned a date night into the best surprise! We had made plans to get dinner and look at Christmas lights at the Botanical Center, unfortunately we chose the coldest night of the year so far to walk outside. I had told Cam that I wanted to go inside to see those lights since I was so cold and when I turned around to start walking back in, Cam got down on one knee and popped the question! He went above and beyond with planning by roping in my friend who does photography and planning a small celebration with all of our friends after at the Christmas pop up bar!
