What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. For men, we suggest a polo or button down with pants. For women, a dress, jumpsuit, or dressy separates would all work.

Is there parking available?

Answer

The LifeServe parking lot is going to be available for guest of our wedding, for the first 100 cars from 1PM to 3PM. It will be $10 per car. You will need to enter from the north side, off of Locust. After 3PM you will need to find one of the other available parking options: there is parking on the street if available or there is also a city parking garage around the corner from the venue at 308 E. 6th, Des Moines, Iowa 50309. The parking garage is $3 for the first hour and $1 for every hour after that. For this reason, we suggest carpooling or taking an Uber.

What time does the reception end? Will there be an after party?

Answer

The reception will end at 11. We have to have our venue packed up by midnight but after we’re cleaned up, we may go explore the East Village bars nearby and you’re more than welcome to join us!

Can I smoke on the property?

Answer

The venue is smoke free. However you are welcome to smoke outside the property.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

No, we will have 2 kegs of Busch Light and there will be about 110 servings of a signature drink. After those are out, you are welcome to purchase drinks.

Can I take photos?

Answer

We have hired Brooke Speicher Photography, LLC to capture our special day and ask that you do not use your cell phones during the ceremony. However, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos during the rest of the night! If you post pictures of videos of the night please use the hashtag #finallyfelton so that we can easily look up pictures online!
