We were planning to meet Tina to take fall pictures at Beckley Creek park before we went to dinner Saturday evening. As we were walking to find the perfect picture spot, Alex led us down a path to an overlook clearing area where Natalie was hiding with the camera. He played an instrumental version of “Blessed” by Thomas Rhett on his phone and we danced (as we always do) so that Tina could capture some candid pictures. As we danced Alex spun me around and got down on one knee. I was so surprised and speechless. “Will you marry me?” was the single easiest question I have ever answered. After the gorgeous ring was secure on my finger our families came out of hiding and celebrated this moment with us. We headed to Martini Italian Bistro where I was first refered to as the “Bride to be.” It was a perfect day that I will never forget.
