FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what is listed here, please reach out to Tyler at 217-381-2835!
Question

What is parking like for both venues?

Answer

For the ceremony, parking will be right outside of the Artisan Building. Some walking may be required depending on arrival time to the ceremony site. For the reception, there will be plenty of parking available in the front parking lot of the hotel. There will not be any valet parking, so you are free to park in whatever spots are closest.

Question

What Should I Wear?

Answer

The attire for this wedding is formal! Suits, tuxedos, dresses, etc. However, we recognize that May is a HAWT month, so feel free to dress comfortable and formal (ie. dress pants with dress shirt and no jacket, or dresses). We do respectfully ask that women stay away from white dresses.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Indoor for sure! We are also keeping COVID requirements/restrictions in mind since we are having an indoor wedding. We are hopeful (crossing our fingers) that progress will be made by 5/21/22 to containing the COVID outbreak. Masks at this time will be heavily requested, especially if you are not fully vaccinated. We will return to this question frequently based on the progress being made with this virus.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

As you may have noticed there is a bit of a break between the ceremony ending and the cocktail hour starting. For those from the Springfield area, you are more than welcome to head on over to the reception venue to get your cocktails on or you can take a quick breather at a local bar. Don't eat too much because in pure Tyler fashion, we made sure there is food galore. There will be some activities at the cocktail venue so feel free to head on over and partake in those!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Question

Are Kids Welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The RSVP deadline will be May 7, 2022. We prefer for you to mail back your RSVP and there will be postage and a small envelope present in your invitation package for you to send back hassle free!

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Of course! We definitely will not let you go hungry. Tyler is most ecstatic about the queso and chocolate fountains that she HAD to have. A snack station will be present along with a traditional plated dinner. On your invitation you can choose between chicken, steak, or vegetarian. For chicken we will have Prosciutto & Fontina Stuffed Chicken. The steak option is a 6oz. Sirloin and a vegetarian option will also be available.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

For the ceremony, the easiest answer is no. We want you to enjoy that time by being present in the present moment. We have a photographer and videographer that will capture every highlight of the ceremony. For the reception, the easiest answer is absolutely YES! The only request that we have is that you use our hashtag #finallyfair so we can keep track of all your pictures.

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

Shoot me a text! My number is 217-381-2835 and am available for a text or call whenever. I am easiest to reach by text however.
