Becky and Tyler met as classmates at San Jose State University through friends of friends in the Fall of 2016. Neither thought much of the other at first, although they did think that the other was kind of cute. As that fall semester rolled on, Becky and Tyler became fairly good friends but only within the University setting. In Spring of 2017, Becky and Tyler found that they had five classes together that semester. Naturally their relationship started to develop from just friends to something more. It was mid-semester that Becky professed her true feelings to Tyler while they were sitting on a bench in the hallway of their Kinesiology department. This allowed the introverted Tyler to do the same. The two dated for a couple months then went "official" on June 1, 2017. After 22 months of dating, Tyler proposed to Becky on North Shore in Oahu, Hawaii. What started off as a casual friendship turned into the bond of a lifetime.
