FAQs

Question

By what date should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 4th, 2021 so that we can make appropriate arrangements.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome! We will have lawn games, dancing, mac'n'cheese and s'mores. And a beer burro for the mommies and daddies.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will have certain low-allergen foods available, but if you have specific dietary restrictions, please contact the bride at caitlinlinao@gmail.com or Julie Eby-McKenzie at jebymac@hotmail.com.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 5:30 pm for seating and pre-ceremony refreshments!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire preferred. Our wedding will not have an Independence Day theme- thank you for helping us keep our long-awaited day special! The venue can get a little chilly at night, so we recommend bringing a coat or a wrap for the evening. The ground of the reception area is covered in woodchips- block heels, wedges, or flats are suggested for your comfort.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We are in the process of renting transportation to bring guests to and from the hotel at the beginning and the end of the evening. To help us make appropriate reservations, please indicate whether you would like a ride in that section on the RSVP page! The mountain roads are windy and dark at night- drink, party, stay safe!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is available at the ranch, however the road from the city to the venue is winding and poorly lit. We recommend carpooling if you feel at all uncomfortable driving on mountain roads. We will provide transportation to those who would like it to and from the hotel. There is also an option to use uber or lyft to and from the venue.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at Zola, Amazon, and Anthropologie.

Question

Freaking COVID

Answer

As of June 15th, we are expecting that most CDC restrictions on gatherings will be lifted, and we should be able to have a ‘normal’ wedding day! Masks are optional for all vaccinated folks and we encourage those who are unvaccinated to wear a mask for safety. We will have a dance floor and a photo booth for those who feel comfortable, as well as a campfire, and some fun lawn games if you prefer a more distanced activity! Our venue is completely outdoors with plenty of space to spread out, should you so choose! We will have plenty of hand sanitizer on hand, and will require all staff members who are handling food or beverages, or coming in close contact with guests to wear masks for the duration of the event. Contact 818-421-1482 or knapkins@gmail.com for all COVID questions. Love, C&P
