WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY? DO I HAVE TO MAIL MY RSVP BACK OR CAN I DO IT ONLINE?

Answer

Your RSVP is due no later than November 1, 2025 so we can finalize plans! If something changes after November 1st please let us know ASAP. All RSVPs are done online, under the RSVP tab!

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE CEREMONY?

Answer

The Ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm. Please arrive with enough time to be seated and settled but no earlier than 3:30pm. The ceremony will last approximately 30 minutes with a Reception to follow at Hill Cross Hunt Club.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

The dress code is a loose version of semi-formal. Jeans and dress shirts, dresses, and pantsuits welcome. Please do not wear white.

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

Yes, please bring your significant other or date and children are also welcome. We only ask that you let us know how many total people are in your party.

ARE CHILDREN WELCOME?

Answer

Yes, we are excited to share our special day with you, and your families! But if you choose to have a night out without them, that’s okay too!

I HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY, CAN I MAKE A SPECIAL REQUEST?

Answer

Please let us know ASAP if you have an allergy or dietary restriction and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE THIS TIME OF YEAR IN BROOKNEAL VIRGINIA?

Answer

Daily temps have a steep variance this time of year, with it being as warm as 70 but able to get as low as 35 degrees. You may want to bring a jacket to keep warm.

WILL THE CEREMONY/RECEPTION BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

The Ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. In the event of heavy rain, the ceremony will be moved indoors.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN’T MAKE IT?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know ASAP. Please RSVP “No” so we can plan accordingly.

WILL THERE BE FOOD AND DRINKS OFFERED AT THE RECEPTION?

Answer

Yes, we will be having a BBQ Buffet! Followed of course by wedding cake! *byob as there will be limited alcohol available at the reception

CAN I TAKE AND POST PHOTOS OF THE WEDDING ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged, so please no phone or photos during this time. We have hired an awesome photographer to capture all of the most important moments. Though we do encourage guests to take photos during the reception and use our wedding hashtag #FinallyAWalker so we can find all of the photos. You can also text any photos or videos to Dana!

DO YOU HAVE A REGISTRY?

Answer
