Absolutely!! And if you are a parent at the daycare Britt works at, she’s already added your children to her guest list. :)
NO. Not only does Brittney not feel comfortable serving alcohol, it’s prohibited at the fire station. Brittney loves sober fun plus there will be children present. The bridal party was given strict orders to make sure this rule is followed. WE WILL NOT TOLERATE THE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL WHAT SO EVER.
Casual attire is fine. But you are more than welcome to use this as an excuse to dress up to the nines.
The fire station has a limit of 150, so please okay a plus one with the bride or groom.
Ceremony starts at 5, so between 4:20-4:45 is perfect.
Her grandpa was not only the president of it at one point but he was the fire chief; her biological dad, her brother and a few of her uncles have been volunteer fire fighters there .. her fiancé is a part of the department (when he’s not working) and her dad was the fire chief for a while before he passed away two 1/2 years ago. The fire station has been used in her family for years, even for birthday parties, family reunions, baby showers and even a funeral for her dad. So while not every memory has been a happy one, the place holds a very special place in her heart and she’s excited about starting a new chapter in her life, especially in a place where a few of her favorite men once started a new chapter in their lives.
