It was Kingsburg's girls night and my Grandma and I met our family friend there, Karen Norman, who brought her Friend Debbie Hallum. Prior introduction to Debbie(Joey's Mom), Karen asked me, "Katie are you seeing anyone?" and I said "No". She then asked, "Well are you talking to anyone?" and I said "No" and she said "Well I know a guy that I think would be perfect for you, meet his Mom, Debbie". I immediately became incredibly nervous and totally struck off guard. So I introduced myself and shook her hand and then to my surprise, Debbie started interviewing me. She was asking me questions about my life, what I like to do, my future plans, and even tested my IQ lol. Meanwhile I have no idea who this guy is, what his name is, or even what he looks like. At the end of the conversation Debbie showed me Joey's picture and told me his name and said I think you should talk to my son because, intellectually speaking, you would be able to keep up with him and have some pretty meaning conversations. However, you have to friend request me on facebook first before you can friend request him. So that is exactly what I did. Upon receiving my friend request, Joey Facetimed his mom while we were at girls night and we saw each other for a brief couple seconds and said "Hi" in which he immediately starts messaging me after. The rest is history, because once we started talking we never stopped!
