FAQs

Question

I RSVPed but no longer feel comfortable coming, should I tell you?

Answer

Yes! While we will absolutely miss you on our big day we would love to give our vendors an accurate headcount since no changes can be made after August 22nd. We understand that a lot is up in the air right now and you may RSVP and later change your mind - all we ask is that you let us know as soon as possible.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to COVID-19 we have had to restrict the amount of plus ones in attendance to stay within our venue's max capacity. Those who received a plus one will see their plus one's name listed on their invitation. Otherwise, we would love to have just you for our big day!

Question

What precautions are you taking due to COVID-19?

Answer

*Please note that these practices will evolve over time based on National and Local regulations and recommendations. We will do our best to keep this posting as up to date as possible* From our venue, Brazos Hall: In addition to our standard practices, we will be implementing the following: ● Temperature checks upon entry ● Staff will not engage in any direct personal contact with guests and will wear a cloth mask ● Hand sanitizer stations throughout the space. Guests will be required to sanitize their hands prior to gaining entry ● Hourly cleanings of all restrooms ● Periodic wipe downs of all frequently touched surfaces ● Marked out line queuing for 6ft of distance at our entrance ● We will mark the bar & restroom areas for line queuing ● Seating at tables will be limited to a maximum of 10 guests ● Seating for ceremonies will have 2 empty seats between guests unless from the same household & 6ft between rows. ● Provide signage to remind guests & employees of best hygiene practices

Question

Will masks be required?

Answer

***Update from Brazos Hall - 6.29*** Unless something changes with current mandates, we will require masks upon entry and ask that they remain on when not seated. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As of right now we will not be requiring anyone to wear masks at the wedding. However, we will have masks available for those who wish to wear one and encourage everyone to do whatever makes them the most comfortable!

Question

I'm at risk but still want to attend, are there any special accommodations you can make?

Answer

Of course! If needed we can have tables will less people for our high risk friends that are also out of the way of most foot traffic. We will also have buttons available to wear and let people know that you would prefer to keep your distance. If you need special accommodations please feel free to message Ashleigh at 936-697-5087

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

While the ceremony and dinner portion of the evening will have social distancing enforced we will be allowing dancing (unlike in that town from Footloose) at the wedding. If you would prefer to leave after dinner or not participate we completely understand! Or if you would prefer to avoid the crowd and dance socially distanced in your chair here is some inspiration https://youtu.be/7v6tY_u-Mls
