We joyfully invite you to come celebrate our marriage!

We met in our sophomore year of college, when Jobin roomed with some of the RCF (Renewal College Fellowship) guys. As we progressed into the professional years of our program, we were in multiple classes together and served alongside one another in RCF. We grew close as we spent time with each other and bonded over K-dramas. Faith didn't know it, but Jobin started falling for her. Jobin didn't know it, but he was totally friend-zoned and out-of-radar for Faith. 🤣😅🤭

On Faith's 23rd birthday, Jobin broke through the friend-zone and told her he liked her. Faith was taken by surprise, but appreciated how straightforward Jobin was. So she decided to give him a chance, and the rest is history! ...jk. It took a long time before we actually started dating. Jobin asked Faith 3 different times before she finally decided to give the relationship a shot. On January 10th, 2016, at a Sulbing in Korea on a Sunday afternoon, Faith and Jobin started dating.

Jobin was set on keeping the "element of surprise" for the proposal. He told Faith they'd go on a casual date. So Faith slept in, she put her hair in a bun, and carried her bag of laundry to Jobin's apartment... ...And was greeted by a decorated room and a message board that said, "YUNJU FAITH LEE, WILL YOU MARRY ME?" Needless to say she said yes, but she still has not let go of the greasy hair bun. *sigh* At least her nails were done. *eyeroll*

Two months before the original wedding date, a global pandemic was declared, and the wedding was cancelled. We were set on having a private ceremony so we could be legally married and move in together. But then the City Hall offices closed and we almost couldn't even do that. By the grace of God, the city started allowing emergency marriage licenses to frontline workers just in time. On May 15th, 2020 (5+15=20, get it?) we declared our vows before God and our loved ones (via zoom) and signed the legal paperwork. We got married! The wedding was cancelled, but our love was not!

The time has come! After a year of grieving and longing, we get to reunite with beloved friends and family to celebrate the union of our marriage on our 1 year anniversary! We are so excited to celebrate with you all and look forward to seeing familiar faces! See you soon!
