The Pond House Cafe is located in Elizabeth Park. The park offers various parking lots and street parking, as well as the Pond House Cafe which has a designated parking lot!
The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00pm. We kindly ask that you begin seating by 5:45pm to allow for a smooth start time! If you have extra time to kill before the start of the ceremony on May 2nd, you can go to Elizabeth Park anytime before the ceremony to stroll through Elizabeth Park and take in the vast rose gardens!
Due to the limited space available at the Pond House Cafe, no additional guests aside from those indicated on the invitation will be able to attend.
We understand some guests may have children. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children- thank you for understanding.
If traveling from out of state, there are a wide variety of hotels located near The Pond House Cafe! We recommend exploring hotel options in cities just outside of Hartford, CT, such as Windsor, Glastonbury, or Bloomfield as these cities seem to have lower nightly rates!
Yes! There will be a designated time for all guests to take pictures during the ceremony; however, we kindly request that all guests do not use their cellphones to take videos or photographs during the ceremony. We have hired a fantastic photographer and videographer to capture the ceremony, so we would appreciate all guests to be present in the moment with us!
Semi formal attire is preferred. Since the wedding will take place in early May and the ceremony will be outdoors, it is recommended that guests dress in accordance to the weather.
