One casual day at work and one day trip to the winery is where this love story begins. The two first caught each other's eye when Anthony came up to the bar to buy a bottle of wine for his table. Michelle remembered his order and hoped he would come up again (He did, and she remembered). Later that day, Michelle went to check on guests and offered to clear off empty bottles from Anthony and his friend's table to which they responded, "You can take everything but the wallets on the table." Anthony saw this as a good opportunity to throw out a pick up line, saying, "You can take my wallet but just give it back tomorrow when you meet me out for dinner." Michelle laughed and tossed his wallet back at him. As the song, "Closing Time" played and people began to leave, Anthony came up to Michelle and formally introduced himself and asked if he could take her out on a date the following week. Michelle accepted (of course) and one week later Anthony drove way out of his way to pick Michelle up at her home and take her golfing at Fairview in Harwinton. So, on June 30th, 2018, the two showed off their golf skills in the summer heat, bonded over their hatred of mushrooms, jammed out to Blink-182 and unknowingly began a story that would last forever.

A Guastella family vacation to Cape Cod began a day early for Anthony and Michelle as they headed up to spend some quality time together after a busy summer. The two headed out early Friday morning and drove until they reached Marconi Beach in Wellfleet. They spent the day walking the deserted beach and watching some seals play in the water. Upon leaving the beach, Anthony surprised Michelle by taking her to a beautiful Bed & Breakfast in Brewster, which was the town she vacationed in with her family as a child. The two lounged by the pool until it was time for dinner. On the way to dinner, Anthony made a stop at Rock Harbor to watch the famous sunsets; Unknowingly another spot Michelle used to visit as a child to watch the sunsets. As the sun was just about to go down and the photographer that Anthony hired got into position, he got down on one knee and popped the question!
