How do I get to Madeira?

Madeira has an international airport (FNC – Cristiano Ronaldo Airport) with direct flights from several European cities, especially Lisbon, Porto, London, and others.

How do I get from the airport to my hotel?
Answer
Taxis and private transfers are available directly from the airport. You can also use Bolt or Uber, there are also local cabs outside the airport. Your other option is to take the Aerobus into central Funchal. If you're planning to rent a car, it's best to book in advance—especially in summer.

What should I wear to the wedding?

The ceremony and party will be Semi Formal- Suits/cocktail dresses. June in Madeira is usually warm and sunny, so we recommend light, elegant outfits. Just a heads-up: thin heels aren’t the best for gardens, so go for something comfy if you're planning to dance! Oh, and just a friendly reminder: 🤍 Please avoid wearing white (that's reserved for the bride - maybe groom!) ❤️ Traditionally in Portugal, red isn't worn to weddings. The main thing is to come feeling comfortable and ready to celebrate with us!
