Day trip to Sintra
One of our favorite places back home, full of nature and colorful palaces. If you are in the mood for a short hike, you can go all the way up to Miradouro da Cruz Alta, the highest point of Serra de Sintra! Make sure to try ginginha when you are there and grab some queijadas and travesseiros de Sintra for an afternoon snack!

Find your nearest marisqueira and eat your weight in seafood, you won't be disappointed!

Dip your feet in the Atlantic
There are many beautiful beaches close to Lisbon! In fact, we first started dating in a beach called Carcavelos. We often choose the beaches from Linha de Cascais or Costa da Caparica for a swim. If you can handle the colder Atlantic waters, you should give them a try!
Catch an outdoor movie session
Just because you are traveling doesn't mean you need to give up on your cozy movie nights! During Summer you can find many outdoor movie screenings all over Lisbon. This is a fun activity we do almost every year!
