Joshua's Story I had been working for Electric Forest building shade structures and art exhibits. We met on the last night of the festival at the last set in 2023 through some friends of friends. As soon as we were introduced I knew I had to talk to her and get to know her, her smile had me hooked. We spent the next month getting to know each other by sending books of text to each other before I just stopped responding (not my best move). We reconnected a year later at the following Electric Forest and spent the entire weekend together. We decided there that we had to see each other outside of the festival, so a month later I flew to Portland. After months of talking on the phone for 4 or more hours a day, everyday, I knew I needed her to be closer than a 4 hour flight. I asked her to move to Dallas so that we could take the next step. She sold her house and we drove her and all her belongings cross country to Texas. I couldn't be more grateful for how this all turned out. Logan's Story We met at one of our favorite places which happens to be Electric forest, a music festival. I have been going to Electric Forest since I was 18 years old and swore, I would always attend until I am an old lady, so meeting my soul mate there is quite ironic. The first time I met Josh was brief in 2023 and it followed up with a quick follow-on social media. We messaged each other (or sent paragraphs should I say) that lasted about a month and those came to a halt since Joshua decided to stop replying to me. Then one day around a year later Josh messaged me once again and these messages lead to us exchanging numbers, which then brought us to spending majority of the whole Electric Forest 2024 together. After the music festival it was clear to me that what we had was so special, so special that Josh came out to Portland to spend a week with me 4 weeks later. Between hours of phone calls, learning how to perfectly sync our movies at the same time through facetiming and always changing our flights to get extra time together, I knew what I had to do....move to Dallas. I am so happy I took that leap so now we all get to celebrate our love.
