Is there a dress code?

While there is no dress code, per se, we’d love to see you in your fancy party attire!

Where is the ceremony and reception

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are at the Roostertail. Ceremony starts at 5:30 and we’ll roll right into the party at 6:00pm

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is going to be short and sweet, starting at 5:30pm at the Roostertail. Please arrive between 5:00-5:15 to make sure you get the best seats!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There’s plenty of parking at the Roostertail for the ceremony and reception.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We’re finalizing blocks of rooms at discounted rates with two hotels in Downtown Detroit: the Westin Book Cadillac and the Hilton Garden Inn. Check the travel page for more information.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The hotels are a very short drive (or Uber ride) to the venue. We’ll update the travel page if shuttles are available.

We’ll be sending out invitations in the early summer. Please be sure to RSVP by Aug 1, 2024

Because we are so blessed to have so many people we love and want to share our celebration with, we are not able to include children (although we love them too ☺️)

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please let us know! We had to change from a strolling menu to a plated dinner. Text or call Maria at (248) 885-6019 with your dietary restrictions.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We’re still finalizing the pre-partying the day of the wedding and we will update the site once everything is finalized. That being said, plan to join Jeff and the boys at Sinbad’s (next to the Roostertail) for some fun before we tie the knot.
