We are getting married!

Chad and Maisyn started talking on Tinder in the middle of spring of 2022 while Chad was visiting his family in San Diego. They talked from dusk to dawn until Chad flew back to his home town in Massachusetts later that week. He left her with a promise. "If you are still single when I return in the fall. I promise I'll take you on a date." When fall came around, Maisyn received a message from Chad asking her to meet him at Wonderland Ocean Pub in Ocean Beach. At 8:30 that evening they went on their first date. It was filled with endless conversation and laughing till the restaurant closed. They finished the date both a little drunk and laying on the beach. Chad had a business trip in Vegas the following week, they continued to talk and FaceTime. Upon that following week he took her on a second date to Lavo in the Gaslamp District in San Diego. Maisyn realized in the middle of that second date that she met the guy she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. On October 15th 2022, Chad formally asked Maisyn to be his girlfriend. They spent the next year spending almost every single day together. They decided to move into an apartment together and on Thanksgiving day after dinner with Chad's family, Chad asked Maisyn to marry him. She said yes!
