Question

Why this resort?

Answer

We placed inquiries with various other resorts before deciding on Dreams Vallarta Bay. This resort fits our needs the most and is an affordable option for all of our guests. Plus it's a beautiful beach front resort that is family friendly and all-inclusive! Since we are only allowed a very limited number of off-resort passes for guests attending our wedding, we ask that everyone please stay at Dreams Vallarta Bay.

Question

How do I book my room?

Answer

There's a few ways to book your room! 1. You can book directly through the hotel! They offer bundles on flights and transportation to the resort (at an additional cost) through the website as well. You can choose from the variety of rooms that the resort has to offer! 2. You can go through your own travel agency if you would like. I know typically they offer great bundles. Just be sure to tell them our resort information when booking! 3. COSTCO! Costco Travel offers a great bundle for our resort (includes flights and transportation to and from the airport to the hotel) When you search for the bundles, you can filter the results on the website so it will automatically give you our resort's information and packages they offer. We have used Costco Travel many times and love it! Plus, it's slightly less expensive to book through here instead of the hotel website

Question

Can we stay longer at the resort?

Answer

ABSOLUTELY! We want all of our guests to enjoy themselves and hopefully make a trip out of it! We will be arriving to the resort the Thursday before our wedding and would love for whoever can to join us. We will be leaving for our honeymoon the Monday after our wedding but you are more than welcome to stay longer!

Question

I want to go but I need a passport....WHAT DO I DO???

Answer

No worries, we've provided step by step instructions on how to obtain a passport. Keep in mind that it does take about 10-12 weeks to process your application so the earlier the better. 1. Fill out a U.S. Passport application (Form DS-11) you can get this at any local post office or print it online 2. Make an appointment to get your application processed (most post offices process them for you) 3. Bring your driver's license, birth certificate, and social security card with you to your appointment 4. Get your passport photo taken before your appointment (AAA does photos, along with many public libraries and post offices) 5. Go to your appointment with the application, documents, and picture! The processing fee is approximately $130

Question

I know the process now, but what if I have more questions about passport applications and the process?

Question

This sounds like so much fun, but what if I can't make it to Mexico for the wedding?

Answer

We understand that by having a destination wedding, some of our guests that we invite may not be able to attend. We will be having our church ceremony, here at home, at St. Dominic Savio Catholic Church in Bellflower on July 8th at 10am that you may attend. But this will only be the church ceremony, we will NOT be having anything else that day aside from our church ceremony and a little celebration at our casita that evening.

For all the days along the way
