Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! Your passport must have 6 months of validity at the time of entry to the Dominican Republic. If you're a US Citizen, you can go to this site for steps to renew your passport (https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/have-passport/renew.html). Be aware it can take over two months to receive your new passport!

Does the resort have a dress code?

Answer

This website lists every restaurant at the resort and the corresponding dress code: https://www.finestresorts.com/punta-cana/finest-punta-cana/flavor-and-spirits/ For men, most restaurants require closed-toe shoes and a collared shirt. A couple of restaurants require pants at dinner. Sleeveless t-shirts are not allowed. For women, summer dress seems to be appropriate almost everywhere!

As of June 12, 2022, the CDC no longer requires air passengers traveling from a foreign country to the United States to show a negative COVID-19 viral test or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board their flight.
