How long should we stay?

We currently have a buy out at Drift from Thursday 7/14 - Sunday 7/17, but will likely be in Cabo the full week leading up to the wedding to get settled in. We'll plan a casual get together Thursday for folks arriving early as well as a Sunday brunch & pool party for those can stick around.

What is weather like in Cabo in July?

Caliente! July can be one of the hottest months in Baja, with daily temperatures typically in the mid to low 90s. Evenings can cool off to high 70s, but rarely drop below 75 degrees.

What is the wedding attire?

Baja Cocktail. Basically cocktail attire but don't melt in the Cabo summer heat! We will be on grass briefly for the ceremony FYI for the ladies shoe choices, but most of the event will be on solid ground.

How easy is it to get around?

Answer

Drift Hotel is located in the historic Centro of San Jose del Cabo, which is an extremely walkable district of town with easy access to restaurants, bars, art walks, and more. Best way to get here from Los Cabos (SJD) airport is via shuttle or rental car. Drift does not currently offer an exclusive hotel shuttle but it's in the works! We'll update this if they establish one in the next couple of months. Uber is now available in San Jose del Cabo so once in town, rental cars really aren't necessary unless you're branching out to explore more of the Baja peninsula (like more beaches, golfing, Cabo San Lucas, Todos Santos, etc).
