we're getting married!

They say Hinge is "designed to be deleted," and for us, that was definitely the case. After meeting in January 2020, our first date lasted so long the restaurant staff had to politely show us the door. By time we made it back to our cars, a second date was already plannned! We navigated the "long distance + pandemic" combo early on, which turns out to be a great way to realize you've found "The One." Since then, it’s been five years of adventures, cross-country travels, and realizing that life is just better (and easier) when we’re together. This past year, Parker pulled off the ultimate surprise in Park City, Utah. He asked me to marry him, and I responded by sobbing tears of joy for a full five minutes before he could even finish the proposal. Eventually, I managed to say "yes!" and now we’re getting married! Proving that God’s plans are always better (and funnier) than our own, the girl who vowed she’d never join a dating app ended up finding her forever match exactly where she least expected!
