thank you for celebrating our commitment to each other! on 10/10, our immediate families gathered in lake placid, ny as we began our path as husband and wife. we decided to shift our initial wedding plans from a big extravaganza to an intimate ceremony after a meltdown (or three) about sending out save the dates for a large gathering with covid as a potential wedding crasher... aaand trying to figure out how to plan a wedding while in the thick of graduate school and career shifts (for Emily). so, we re-routed. we booked an all-inclusive elopement in the adirondacks, invited our families, and wrote our vows for this wild ride we're embarking on together. we love you and can't wait to see each of you soon! xo, Emily & Matt
