Check out Bradley airport in Hartford CT and Tweed in New Haven if you're looking for flights. They're really hard to fly direct to, but it can often be a pretty similar price and avoid the hassle of the NYC or Boston airports.

There are a variety of Air BnB's in the area that are cozy and inexpensive. Here are a few that we like! If you need more recommendations or help booking let us know. The Air BnB website is also a great resource for finding other places to stay and you can put filters on that will cater places to your specific needs. There are also more traditional hotels in New Haven and Guilford that would be convenient. New Haven Village Suites; La Quinta; BnB at Bartlett Farm to name a few.
