When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP online (preferred) or by mail by May 17th, 2024.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal, but once the dance floor opens, all bets are off! Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Grosse Pointe Yacht Club requires a suit, sports coat and tie, or collared shirt and slacks for gentlemen and a suit or dress for ladies. Denim is not permitted.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We ask that you silence and put away your devices during the ceremony to respect the sanctity of the church and allow our professional photographers and videographers to capture the moment.

When and where will the ceremony take place?

Answer

The ceremony will be at Sweetest Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 4440 Russell St., Detroit, MI. Please arrive and be seated by 1:45pm.

Where should I park for the ceremony?

Answer

Please enter the parking lot from Canfield Street and park behind the church.

When and where will the reception take place?

Answer

The reception will be held at Grosse Pointe Yacht Club at 788 Lake Shore Rd., Grosse Pointe Shores, MI. Cocktail Hour will begin at 5:00pm outdoors on the East Lawn, weather permitting. The reception will follow immediately after in the Ballroom.

Where should I park for the reception?

Answer

Valet parking will be provided for all guests.

Are children welcome?

Answer

With the exception of our wedding party, the reception will be an adult-only affair. We hope you enjoy your night off!
