ARCHITECTURE La Sagrada Familia Designed by Antoni Gaudi, it has been in construction for 144 years. This is a must see. Buy the ticket to go inside as it is even more stunning from within. Casa Battlo & La Pedrera Want more Antoni architecture? Check these out. They are on famous streets so I would suggest at least walking by them. FAMOUS AREAS Las Ramblas Famous pedestrian boulevard known for its tree-lined, lively streets with shops, cafes, performances, and so much more. The Gothic Quarter This is a favorite of mine! An old, historic area known for its medieval narrow streets, gothic architecture, outdoor live musical performances, and rich history. Also where we took our engagement pictures. Passeig de Gracia Upscale shopping area Passeig del Born Known for its vibrant nightlife, upscale boutiques, and its medieval atmosphere. NIGHTLIFE Razzmatazz - Probably the best & most famous club in all Barcelona Bars - El Born, Gothic Quarter, El Raval, Eixample areas
ALONG THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA France to Spain Have you ever wanted to just hop on a train and stop at beautiful coastal cities along the Mediterranean Sea? If so, this is the trip for you! It requires very little planning, hopping on very comfortable trains, and the freedom to stop at any city you choose along the way. I did this trip some years back and this is a route I would recommoend. Please note that part of the beauty of this trip is the ability to be spontaneous and stop wherever feels right. Nice, France >> (30 min.) >> Cannes, France >> (2 hours) >> Marseille, France >> (2 hours) >> Montpellier, France >> (3 hours) >> S'Agaro, Spain (Wedding Venue) These trains are extemely comfortable to work in, sleep in, or simply relax. You can book them in advance or day of. You can also book hotels/airbnbs in advance or day of. I would recommend staying in these cities a minimum of two days and two nights. Pick all cities, a few of them, or even just one.
