After rescheduling our dream wedding multiple times because of COVID, we decided in October 2020 to marry at a small micro-ceremony. It was absolutely lovely, but we really wanted to celebrate with the rest of our friends and family, so we're doing a "We Do Redo" at our original venue, Globe Dye Works, on May 29th, 2022. What IS a We Do Redo? Great question! It's kind of like a vow renewal. We'll walk down the aisle and express our love, then we'll party. Robb and Ashley's story begins with a swipe to the right. Shortly after matching on the infamous dating app, they met for drinks and karaoke, where his superstar rendition of Sir Mix-a-Lot's biggest hit left her starry-eyed, and her awkward performance of Sublime's classic date anthem knocked his socks off. They crossed paths organically later that week at an event in the auditorium of the Free Library of Philadelphia. Ashley had just finished gushing about Robb to a friend when Robb and his friends filed into that very same row. Robb checked his phone and saw a text message from Ashley, asking him to look to his left. She inconspicuously stared him down, waiting for him to see the message, then waved goofily when he glanced her way. It didn't take long for the couple to fall in love. One late night on a trip to New Orleans, Robb got on one knee and asked Ashley to marry him. She was elated, and totally surprised! The couple planned their dream wedding for May, 2020. ...Until a pandemic threw a wrench in their plans. After several rescheduled dates, the couple decided to get married at a small microceremony in October, 2020, and they've been enjoying every moment of married life since that day.
