DTW would definitely be the closest airport, but Cleveland, Chicago and Toronto are all within 4 hours of Detroit by car or train.
House Or Rental
We suggest finding an Airbnb in the Grosse Pointe / St. Clair Shores area, but Downtown Detroit is about 20 minutes from all the events :)
