FAQs

Question

What should we wear?

Answer

This is a formal event (dresses, dress pants, etc). Please be mindful that we are having our ceremony in a church when choosing your outfit. Please avoid wearing any shade of white. A white shawl or accessory is perfectly acceptable, just no white outfits.

Question

Where do we park?

Answer

For the ceremony: There is ample parking at the church with a back entrance from the parking lot leading into the church. For the Reception: There is a parking lot behind the Temple Theatre building with ample parking spaces for our guests. There is also parking available at the SVRC marketplace.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love all of the kids in our lives, but have opted for a kid-free wedding. We want you to enjoy a night out without the kid(s) as well.

Question

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Only if they are listed on the invitation. We would love to have everyone, but we had to hand-select our guest list and hope you can support us in our decision.

Question

Are there places to stay?

Answer

There are plenty of hotels in the Saginaw area. However, here are some of the ones that we recommend: - Four Point Sheraton - Holiday Inn Express and Suites - Springhill Suites - Home #2 Suites by Hilton - Residents Inn

Question

Is smoking allowed at the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Both the location for the ceremony and the location for the reception are smoke-free buildings

Question

Are the ceremony and reception venues handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes. Both venues have elevators and are handicap accessible.

Question

I missed the RSVP deadline, can I still come?

Answer

As much as we would love to have you there since we have to provide our venue and vendors with an accurate guest count, if you have not RSVP'd by the set date you will not be accounted for. We hope that you understand!

Question

Are you having an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

Yes. We want all of our loved ones to enjoy the ceremony and reception to the fullest extent. We have hired a professional photographer to take care of all picture needs. Please leave your cell phones, ipads, tablets, and other electronics in your bag during the ceremony. We want pictures of all your lovely faces, not your screens.
