While we love your little ones, our wedding is for adults only. We appreciate you making arrangements beforehand to celebrate with us!

Do I need to be vaccinated to attend?

Answer

We're looking forward to celebrating with our closest family and friends, and to do so safely, we ask that everyone attending be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Is there parking available at the venue? If so, where?

Answer

The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club provides ample complimentary guest parking directly in front of its entrance.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place between the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club's Beach House Ballroom and its accompanying outdoor space. A Tip for the Ladies: Given that the ceremony will be performed on grass, you may want to consider wearing block heels, wedges, or flats to keep from sinking into the lawn.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors and cocktail hour and the reception will be held between the Beach House's indoor ballroom and open air pavilion. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, guests should move directly to the pavilion to enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.

Yes, our venue is able to accommodate those with dietary restrictions. Please let us know as soon as possible if you'll need a special meal and we'll work to ensure it's available.

What will the weather be like in July?

Answer

The average temperatures in Stevensville, MD in July are 86 (high) and 72 (low). Given our specific location at the foot of Maryland's Chesapeake Bay Bridge, we expect there to be a breeze coming off of the Bay as well. If you get cold easily, you may want to consider bringing a pashmina, scarf, or light jacket to remain comfortable.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The attire for our wedding is black tie encouraged. Ladies: Cocktail dresses, tea length formal dresses, and evening gowns. Men: Suits or a tuxedo.
