Jeremy and Alex first met back in 2009 as wide-eyed middle schoolers walking through the halls of Kulshan Middle School. After a couple of years as a quiet admirer, Jeremy followed his love for music, and maybe a certain someone, into the 8th grade spring musical. The two shared the stage in Murder at Crooked House, exchanging all of eight words, before heading off to different high schools with little more than fleeting memories of one another. College sent them on separate paths once again, but, like any true modern love story, social media helped them reconnect. As Jeremy wrapped up his final year at Linfield in Oregon and Alex concluded her studies at Western in Bellingham, daily phone calls turned into something more. A few weeks before Jeremy moved back home, he asked Alex on a date, a date that would mark the beginning of forever. Since their memorable first date in the spring of 2021, Alex and Jeremy have shared countless adventures, travels, and memories. Four years later, on June 7th, 2025, Jeremy brought Alex to Larrabee State Park, where a beautiful sunset turned into an unforgettable moment on one knee. Now, as their wedding day draws near, they are filled with excitement and gratitude for a love story that took its sweet, sweet time, and turned out to be well worth the wait.
