The easiest travel experience from the NY / NJ area will be Porter Airlines, flying out of Newark and into Billy Bishop downtown Toronto. It is a very small airport - and as a result the offboarding experience (customs, security, bags etc.) will be much smoother at Porter vs airlines flying into Pearson International. If Billy Bishop is not an option for you - please see below for more information on Pearson Intl. ***If not renting a car - please see the train information below for trains from Toronto to Guelph (where the Hampton Inn is located - 20 minute driving distance to Elora)***

Uber / Lyft / Fergus Taxi

If you're not renting a car - the most time effective choice to get to Elora / Guelph from Toronto would be to split an Uber / Lyft from the airport. Please note that Ubers / Lyfts from Elora to Toronto are scarce so we recommend reserving a car through Fergus Taxi for the way back to Toronto if you choose to take car service. Train

Go Train Union Station

There is a train line from Union Station - located in downtown Toronto - that goes to Guelph via the Kitchener Line. Both Billy Bishop and Pearson airports connect to Union Station by shuttle. Due to infrequency of direct trains on the weekends, time of travel and convenience - we highly recommend one of the car service options listed. Trains run frequently until ~6PM on the weekdays with the last direct train leaving for Elora at 9:34PM ET and leaving from Elora at 9:03pm ET. Direct trains take ~1 hour 27 minutes. There are no direct trains on Saturdays or Sundays - a transfer to the 33 bus will be required - also on the Kitchener line. This route takes ~2 hours 25 minutes. Please arrive 5 minutes before your departure time as the Go Train doors close early. *If staying in the Hampton Inn in Guelph - You will need to take a 10 minute Uber to the hotel. *If staying in Elora (either the Elora mill or any of the AirBnBs in town) - You will need to take a 20 minute Uber from Guelph to the Elora area

We highly recommend you look into options within the town of Elora to get the full experience of this beautiful setting. There are plenty of great and affordable Airbnb's in walking distance to the Elora Mill, available to various group sizes. Uber's are extremely limited in the town of Elora, however there is taxi service available.
