What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm, so we are asking guests to arrive at Harkness Memorial Amphitheater at 4:00pm.

What is the dress code?
Answer
The beauty of the Eoila Mansion and gardens of Harkness Memorial State Park are breathtaking. To keep with the natural beauty of our venue, we request guests to arrive in formal attire. (Suit and tie and evening dresses or gowns)

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside. The ceremony will be hosted at the Amphitheater and cocktail hour on the main lawn of the Eoila Mansion. Our reception will be held indoors and under the tent of the Mansion.
Question
How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?
Answer
We will not be providing any transportation to or from the Eoila Mansion. Ample parking is available for those choosing to drive themselves to our wedding. There will be parking attendants to help direct family and friends to the location of the Amphitheater. As the Amphitheater is a short walk from the parking lot, guests in need of assistance will be offered a ride to the Amphitheater from the parking lot, as well as the reception location, after the ceremony.

Can I bring my kids?

We kindly ask to leave your children at home as we celebrate our special day.

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?
Answer
As most of our guests are local, we will not be providing hotel room blocks for our wedding. However, in the travel section of our website, we have listed four options for great hotel locations near our wedding venue.

Do you have a wedding registry?
Answer
We have opted to not register for gifts for our wedding. Cash and checks are kindly preferred as we work on renovating our home.

Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?
Answer
After celebrating our wedding on Friday evening guests are welcome to continue the party at Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino. There is no formal schedule, however guests are welcome to keep the party going with us! Additionally, Saturday afternoon we would love to have a few final moments with each of you, before our wedding weekend comes to an end. We will be gathering for cocktails and food at Niantic Public House and Brewery, in Niantic, CT. This will begin at 1:00 pm. Light food and appetizers will be provided by the couple, however drinks will not be. There will be a cash bar.

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?
Answer
Guests will be asked to RSVP by mail, indicating a dinner choice for each of the guests listed.

What date should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please kindly RSVP by April 1st, 2o24. If we have not received your RSVP by this time, we expect you will not be attending.
