Located on a 3,112-acre peninsula, Presque Isle State Park is an ideal place for a summer drive, hike or bike ride. Complete with sandy beaches for swimming (our favorite is beach 6), boating and picnicking, it's a beautiful place to spend time while in Erie. Be sure not to miss Sara's vintage restaurant as you head in to the park and get yourself a famous Smith's hotdog and milkshake!
Sam's parents are local Erie artists with many public murals and sculptures situated about town. Keep your eyes peeled as you traverse the city. Their beautiful works are not to be missed!
Our favorite cafe with the best americanos.
Treat yourself and your car at Denny's two for one establishment. Famous for their blue moon soft serve.
German for "woods by the sea," this old time amusement park opened in 1896! Conveniently located at the entrance to Presque Isle, this weird little park holds a special place in our hearts. Especially the Wacky Shack!
Voted some of the best bbq in PA, Federal Hill is a great place to grab some lunch. After, take a stroll up Peach Street to shop local boutiques and vintage stores.
Situated in Erie's Little Italy, Larry's is a go to market in the Ferraro household. Ask for an Italian on International bread. You won't be disappointed. While there, be sure to view a Tom Ferraro mural on the north side of their building!
Stop by for Erie's famous chocolate sponge candy.
