A surgeon and an editor walk into a bar. Seriously. We met the old-fashioned way... on Bumble – a dating app. Our first date was in August of 2019 at a brewery in Dallas. Are you seeing a pattern?! We've come full circle and want to host our wedding celebration at a brewery, too!

When are you actually getting married?

October 31, 2023. Halloween is our favorite holiday and the perfect anniversary date for us.

Why are we celebrating before that then?

Answer

Eliza is a doctor. Her schedule is weird. Also, Halloween is on a Tuesday. Just roll with it.

We're doing a private ceremony. But we're so excited to celebrate with you on the 28th!
